MARSTAR Canada had been on the same platform since 2005, and was ready to move forward with modernizing the site as well as most of its internal fulfillment and shipping processes. A full ecom site rebuild, focussing on speed and ease of use, was completed in 5 months. Shipping automation, full E-commerce capabilities along with modernized shipping estimates and real time data analytics were included in the overall scope. As the project progressed, several gaps in the solution were identified and overcome with just in time code solutions, and opportunities that were not visible to the implementation Team at launch were able to be taken advantage of through the same process.
